客演は、日本を代表するラッパーの1人であるJJJ、兵庫県姫路市出身の個性派ラッパー、anddy toy storeの2名。プロデューサー陣には、MFSのバックDJも務めるRUIをはじめ、大阪を拠点とするip passportや京都を中心に活動するStones Taro、岡山のKeita Sanoなど、海外でも活躍する実力者ばかり。また、オーストラリアを拠点とするTaka Perry、JojiやAnderson Paak、Jon Batisteといったアーティストらに楽曲提供の経歴があるTaydexなども参加している。
MFS, a one-of-a-kind rapper who has shown overwhelming presence and captivated those around her even before her debut, is releasing her highly expected first debut album, “COMBO,” on vinyl worldwide. The release will be under the joint label of her independent label MFS Records and diskunion DIW.
Featuring unforgettable phrases and melodies, the title track “Combo” has become a representative song of Japanese HIPHOP in 2024. The album also includes “Drink feat. JJJ,” which became a trend for featuring JJJ.
Guest performers include JJJ, one of Japan’s leading rappers, and anddy toy store, a unique rapper from Himeji City, Hyogo. The producers are also top-notch, including RUI, who serves as MFS’s backup DJ, ip passport from Osaka, Stones Taro based mainly in Kyoto, and Keita Sano from Okayama, all of whom are recognized talents worldwide. Additionally, Taka Perry, based in Australia, and Taydex, who has provided tracks for artists such as Joji, Anderson Paak, and Jon Batiste, also contributed to the album.
